About the Author PoetWorks Press recently published my work in the books Silhouettes and In the Company of Women. I was chosen and on June 13th of 2001 appeared as "Guest Poet" for PoetWorks Press. I was published in the last three issues of YA'SOU! magazine. In the summer of 2001, YA'SOU! magazine published a Special Edition featuring the Poetic Works of Geri Ahearn. In August of 2001, Life's Poetic Journey has been released, and my press release was sent to five

different states, including Arizona, where I reside. Life's Poetic Journey appeared in the book review section of  The New York Times on January 6th, 2002.  It also appeared on the back cover of the book review section of The LA Times on February 10th, 2002. The Nurse In The Purse is now Available in Paperback And Hard Cover! The Nurse In The Purse (Book 2) Camp Grenada is coming soon! At the present time, I am in the process of writing two other children's books to be published in 2002.
